Eligibility and Strategy
- Assessment of eligibility based on Canadian skilled work experience within the past three years
- Review of TEER classification, National Occupational Classification (NOC), and job duties
- Assessment of alternative pathways, including provincial nominee programs, where appropriate
Evidence and Documentation
- Review of employment reference letters and supporting employment records, including pay statements, T4 slips, Notices of Assessment, and contracts
- Verification of job duties, hours, wages, and work location
- Review of language test results, educational credentials, and work authorization history, where applicable
- Assistance obtaining corrected or updated employment documents
- Organization of supporting evidence for a complete permanent residence application
Application Preparation
- Preparation or review of the Express Entry profile and electronic application for permanent residence (e-APR)
- Drafting of legal submissions addressing eligibility, work experience, NOC classification, language requirements, temporary resident status, admissibility, or other case-specific issues
- Review of all forms and supporting documents for completeness and consistency, including personal, travel, and employment history
- Review of police certificates, medical examinations, biometrics, and civil status documents
- Monitoring IRCC correspondence and responding to procedural requests through to a final decision
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The CRS is a points-based system used to rank Express Entry candidates. Points are awarded for factors such as age, education, language skills, work experience, and additional factors like a provincial nomination or Canadian education.
Once you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA), you have 60 days to submit a complete application. Most applications are processed within approximately six months from the date of submission.
No, a job offer is not required. However, a valid job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) can significantly boost your CRS score.
